An exhibition of Sri Chinmoy's artwork in Bristol
Sri Chinmoy calls his art ‘Jharna Kala’ or ‘Fountain Art’. From a state of deep meditation all his work arrives like a fountain, spontaneously, boldly, and with a unique freshness, both in colour and in black and white. The viewer is bathed in the experience of simplicity, vibrant delight and self-expansion. The prevailing theme of birds, drawn or painted with speed and energy intensifies the feelings of freedom and liberation.
