Concerts

Sri Chinmoy was a prolific composer of devotional music. His songs stem from a deep meditative source and express the inner yearnings of the heart and can be very conduicive to meditation and going deep within.

Within the UK, we have groups of Sri Chinmoy's students who perform his music at different venues in both the UK and across the world.

Temple-Song-Hearts

Most of the songs are written in Sri Chinmoy's native Bengali, a rich language well suited to poetry and lyrical expression. Others are written in English. Many have simple melody lines that are sung repeatedly in the style of a mantric chant.

Ananda

Meditation Mantras from Ananda

This video offers a particular collection of short mantric songs. These songs make an excellent meditation exercise and at the end of Ananda concerts, the group sometimes invite members of the audience to join in and participate.
