Aspects of life in the Sri Chinmoy Centre
Meditation
“We can easily know whether we are meditating well or not just by the way we feel and see and think. Right after our meditation, if we have a good feeling for the world, then we know our meditation was good. If we see the world in a loving way in spite of its imperfections, if we can love the world even while seeing its teeming imperfections, then we know that our meditation was good.”

Meditation is an important part of the Sri Chinmoy Centre. It is through meditation that we can become aware of a deeper reality and experience a sense of peace and joy. To complement our individual meditation practice, we also meditate in a centre twice a week.

Music
Music plays an integral part of the Sri Chinmoy Centre. Free concerts of Sri Chinmoy's music are offered throughout the year.
“Music helps the spiritual seeker to go deep within to get the utmost satisfaction from life, from truth, from reality. The spiritual life, in turn, helps music to offer its capacity and its strength, which is the soul’s light, to the world at large.”
