Sent 152 windup radios requested by the United Nations in Liberia to improve communications in remote areas. Altogether over 3000 windup radios were sent by OHTS offices wordwide.

Organised construction of glass windows in Ambadehoo village school in Eritrea (they get very strong winds and dust which comes through the windows into the classrooms).

Sent a sea container containing 294 boxes of clothing, school stationery & equipment, toys, computers, medical supplies, 3 hospital transfer trolleys and bicycles sent to a local NGO in Guinea Bissau. The school supplies included over 200,000 pencils. They were distributed to remote schools in Guinea Bissau. The hospital equipment was donated to the main hospital in Bissau.

3 large boxes of running shoes sent by Run & Become to charitable organisations in Bangladesh.

Donated 440kg rice, 125 kg pulses, 108 packets of Puritabs Maxi water purification tablets (enough for 162,000L of water) and 2 boxes of children’s clothes to the Bangladesh High Commission in UK to send immediately via air to Bangladesh to alleviate the flood crisis there.

Sent a sea container containing 157 boxes and 31 pieces of school furniture (tables, cupboards). The boxes contained school stationery and teaching aids, 15 computers, 400 nurses uniforms, toys, sports clothes, clothes and 51 boxes of school books.

Sent 3 large boxes of medical aid to Senegal to an NGO that specialises in care and support of children, especially those living with AIDS. The medical aid is to be used in the “Hospital Roi Baudouin” in Dakar.
